Something is not quite right with my C600 windshield adjustment mechanism and I want to check it out. Has anyone had to do any work on this?
As I see it both upper side panels are removed. It looks like you then have to remove the two mirrors by removing the two nuts for each that are bolted to the trim bracket. Then there are four screws holding the front panel. What I am not sure about is the lights that are attached to that black front panel which I can't find the official name for but I'm sure you know. Do you remove the light housings from that panel before getting to the windshield adjustment mechanism or is there enough slack in the lighting wiring to get to the three screws where the windshield adjustment mechanism is mounted to the trim bracket?
Could probably work through this with time but perhaps someone has been down this road before and can help me.
