Windshield won't adjust.

For the second time since I got the bike the windshield won't move. I checked the OBD with my diagnostic tool which showed a fault on the windshield but when I cleared the fault the windshield still won't move. Last time it happened was when it was on warranty so I guess this time I'll find out what it costs out of pocket. I checked the fuses but didn't get into the switch, might do that but I don't think that's the trouble. Last time a reflash of the computer cured the problem. The clock was wrong as well. I reset that okay. No idea what happened everything was fine when I parked it in the garage yesterday but not working when I fired it up today.

When activating the switch have you tried to add a little force with your hand either in a lift or a pull down motion.

Could this have anything with dropping it last week?

It was working fine for at least two days after my error. I've tried to see if I could push it either way with the switch in the appropriate direction. I haven't pulled the handlebar cover to get at the switches to check them. Maybe tomorrow. I do think it's in the control system though, it happened once before and a reflash of the ECU cured it. Unfortunately for me my dealer is closed during this week to let his employees have a week off for Independence day. Since it happened once before under the warranty I believe I have an argument that it wasn't completely cured at that time and expect this to be corrected at their cost. We'll see.
