I had a CalSci windshield on my 2023 C400gt. I cut the edges on it to fit my hand guards. Spoke with the guy who makes them. He would have cut it for me but I decieded to do it myself. It turned out pretty good. If you know what height you need I'm sure he would cut it for you. The thing is with...

Looking Good! welcome to the group. Have fun with it!

I put an Airhawk on my seat. This thing is filled with a little air. I thought for sure it would completely kill the effect of the heated seat but that is not so. It may take longer to feel the heat but it still comes through and once the air in the Airhawk gets hot it works really well.

I have the Skill Twist 2.0 electric screw driver with the correct bit. I just let it go until it stops. Then I just snug them by hand to make sure it worked. It just gets them snug. I have not had any issues with the body panel screws doing it this way and I feel like they are all about the...

The information in this thread is awesome especially the section of where to find what in the manual. Thank You! mgg

Yes! That is what I suspected becasue it made no sense to have that screen when it could have been displayed anywhere. When I checked today the Urban screen already has MPH and a Tach so you really don't need the MPH only screen wheich is what I bet they eleminated and renamed?

Got it. Thanks for the report on how it is working for you and advise for set up. Again this is similar to how I have done it in the past. The height on the windshield I have right now is just about perfect so I will aslo measure it to see where it's at, The problem with my existing shield is...

I will post a picture when I get it done. It has been shipped however it will not get here for a few days. Not sure I will start this project before I get back from vacation. Going to ride in the Ozarks at the end of the month. I wonder if I will cut off that much. I am just a little over 5'10".

I read your instructions and they are very similar to what I have done in the past. I actually have plastic blades for my jigsaw and have cut windshields before. I will test for correct hight and tape.

Thanks for posting the picture. That looks great! I just purchased one.

I would love to see a picture of what it looks like cut. I am considering a Givi as I would like to block more wind from my chest area on the cold days. Knowing that it can be cut is a big positive for me as I my also need to do this.

I had a similar experiance. I too had a rattle that I thought was coming from the front but later realized it was coming from things rattleing in my Shade trunk on bumpy roads. (Maybe the Shade rattles as little as well. I have since lined the trunk and rearranged things so there is little...

I have only used the Urban screen a couple times to check RPMs after a software update. Otherwise I have found it useless. I would check to see if they put the RPM's in a different screen on the 2025? That would make sense to me. You don't need one big screen just for RPMs.

Well I use to work at a glass company and we did some work with plastics. What I discovered was that some plastics can be cut easily and others can not. (I cracked a windshield trying to cut it. It just chipped away at the edge until it cracked.) I cut my current windshield but contacted the...

That could probably be fixed if we could get a back tire with an aspect ratio just a little higher than what we have. I did this on my Indian Challenger and the speedo read perfect as far as I could tell. However I have not been able to find a scooter back tire that will work.

Are you saying that when your speedometer indicates 75 you are really doing 77 or 78 GPS verified? My speedomitor is off as well but when it indicates 75 MPH my GPS says I'm doing 72. So I am actually going slower than indicated. At lower speeds the speedo is off by less.

Thanks for the clarification. Over all I'm pretty happy with the C 400gt and still think it is the best looking Maxie Scooter that I know of. (Of course I liked my Vespas but even my 300 did not handle as well and was not nearly as comfortable as the C 400gt. I changed rollers on the Vespa 200...

This is the thread. It was in the group that you sent. His speedomiter shows 171 at one point in the video. But if I understood the translation correctly, he indicated that he got 164 consistently. Still that is 102 mph and 16 mph more than my C 400 gt will do with my fat ass on it. I know I...

It looked like Scooteria got that Zontes up to 164 KMPH pretty steady which is 102 MPH. Did I read that correctly?
