That seams like a very high idle to me. Does your bike pull at idle? Just wondering because mine does not pull until I give it some throttle.

Shad actually shows how to do it in one of there video's and it is as the second poster states. One hand in the middle of the cover and push up. both sides go up evenly and it seems to work every time. So really not an issue, you just need to know/learn how to do it.
