2020 BMW C650GT windshield not working

I would start with checking the wiring, connectors. Wiggle them as you press the switch to raise the windshield, see if that does anything. It would also be good if you can check for any fault codes in the bike's ECU, using for example the Motoscan app.

C 400: Anyone Used Michelin "City Grip 2" Tires?

Last week I had Michelin Road 4 tires installed on my C650 and really like them, over the Shinko's I had before, that really did not last very long.

    Excessive Rattling

I have a rattle on my K1600 coming from the front. Turns out some small rodent used the bike's faring to store his or her winter supply of small berries! So far I managed to extract about 30 of them but more are rattling around in the nooks and crannies. They only rattle when I raise the...

Malossi Variator with rollers 22g and 24g

I got a set of new rollers and sliders at my local BMW dealer.

2017 C650 GT will not start

I believe that if one or more of the starter inhibitor switches is/are 'off', the bike also won't crank. So if it cranks, normally it should start AFAIK. I assume there's enough fuel in the tank ...

    Oil and filter experiences.

I always stick with the BMW house brand oil and spec. No need to experiment I feel, for something so important and relatively inexpensive.

2017 C650 GT will not start

Did this problem arise suddenly? There's 2 spark plugs and it's unlikely they cause the no start. Does it crank over? Did you check all starting inhibitor switches including helmet storage compartment?

    Fuel Warning Question

About 45 miles has always been my guess, based on what the manual says about how much fuel is left when the light comes on (3 liters, or 3.2 quarts). Since I average about 54 MPG, that comes out to approx 45 miles. That said, I suspect BMW, as other (car, motorcycle) manufacturers deliberately...

    something happened

If the timing did 'move', there are reports of owners being able to get the engine back in time without any permanent damage done to the engine. Fingers crossed. (I always have a backup vehicle to my daily driver for when something puts it out of commission).

    something happened

Timing gear skipped a tooth? Coil intermittent failure? scan ECU for codes is what I would do first. keep us posted please.

    No crank bmw c600

Check the main battery cables to the starter and chassis/grounds. This could be many things. Do you have any history? Did it run when you bought it? Did the seller explain?

    C650GT service.

Not had this problem on my C650 Sport engine which I assume is the same as the GT's? I believe I have changed oil and filter about 4 times in 15K miles but that part always went quite easily.

    Ignition switch replacement

Check on Ebay for the service DVD. Many threads/posts here about this topic. Should be about $25 and will be a bootleg copy, somewhat dated but perfect for the C650/C600. BMW no longer makes them available so this is the best thing you can get these days. Also covers many (all?) Other models.

    Ignition switch replacement

If the switch was already replaced recently, then it sounds like maybe it wasn't installed correctly. I've not heard others having this issue, so the switch is not prone to breaking. Maybe check the bmw repair DVD for how-to on getting at the switch..

    TFT screen theft

Someone should offer a solution where you just unplug and take with you this screen. If thieves can make away with it in minutes when it's mounted, it should not be that big a deal to make it removable? Like with car stereos removable fronts some years ago.

    Hey all new member

Welcome from Southern California. BMW no longer makes its shop manuals available but there are DVD's on Ebay that will cover your bike, there is much info on this forum about that. You can also benefit from getting a special scan tool to read and clear codes, program TPMS sensors and the like...

What battery are you all using?

Your battery cables may have some excess resistance due to poor connection or corrosion including at the starter itself. Maybe check resistance / voltage drop with a multimeter. I did notice that my C650's starter, which starts fine on its regular battery, also spins much faster when I add a...

Long-Distance Touring on a BMW Scooter – Is It Feasible?

My C650 is almost but not quite as comfortable as my K1600. It also depends on whether you plan to ride mostly fast highways or slower 2-lane roads, whether you prefer cruise control, and what sort of weather you expect to encounter. That all said, with either 400 or 650, they are more than...

EASY BOOST for sale lowered price SOLD

I believe only BMW makes the chain rails. I suggest you get both rollers and chain rail at BMW. However, for the chain rail, you first need to know the size that is in there currently, so you know which one to get (next size up). Maybe the shop doing the work can just get the parts for you.
