    something happened

After some more riding, I am inclined to think the issue is with the clutch shaft. There is more vibration even at speed, when the clutch is fully engaged. I have checked the final chain lash and it is right up to MAX marker when shifting the narrower part upwards with a screwdriver. The bike...

    something happened

Bought a new tensioner, once it arrives we get to open and check the engine. Damn I need a second motorbike… selling Victory Jackpot was a mistake.

    something happened

Something happened while i was aggressively rolling on at high speed. My Sport was behaving its best, super smooth and powerful everywhere…I was super happy and excited, and suddenly, in a blink…torque stared to float, power lost, hesitant to go over 100kmh. I made it home OK but have had...

Engine stalling when slowing - test idle control device?

Do you think the motor is varying the angle, without ECU command, then?

Engine stalling when slowing - test idle control device?

Could this be your dying lambda sensor?

    ECU (remapping) C600

Oops, 42-43g is for 2016+ variators - if you still have C600 then it has lighter rollers and inferior transmission. (33g?) --> Buy the Dr.Pulley variator, get two sets of rollers with it like I suggested.

    ECU (remapping) C600

I heard of a company in France that sells the firmware (program) for 60EUR but you would need skills and hardware to put it on. And balls, in case things go wrong. I have a local specialist who I could go to and pay A$900 to do that - in Moorabin, Victoria but where are you? And sure, there is...

Right side body part plastic tab repair - any advice?

The same ordeal happened to me, but luckily on a test ride of a bike i was thinking to buy. Panel blew off on a highway at para-legal speeds ) I put it under the seat and returned the bike. Duct tape won’t do well there. I think he sold the bike shortly after, perhaps to an unsuspecting buyer...

    BMW C650GT grips

I got the rubbers from AliXpres and put them on. Awesome as I needed a larger diameter anyway. Also less vibrations for the longer grand tours.

    What were your symptoms, JOSEMACAD?

    C650/C600 Clutch Replacement

Let me update you all on this. I have Dr.Pulley’s hiT 302002 clutch installed and ran it for about 20000 km now. The pads are in great condition, and I am a very experienced rider with 300000 km done, most on maxi-scooters but maybe 50000km on motorbikes (Victory cruiser and Triumph Tiger, no...

    end of J. Costa

I have re-tuned the Dr.Pulley clutch with excellent results. It took me three tries and the bottom row is the recommended setting I have informed the manufacturer of. I would advise those who purchase their HiT 302002 product also ask for CS1532407095BL6-5.2Kg included into the package so you...

    CVT Rollers

Just chiming in to tell you I am very happy about putting Dr.Pulleys sliding rollers 42g into my 2017 C650 Sport. Stock rollers were 43g, I weighed them. It revs up nice when I am solo, and pulls fiercely when I have a pillion passenger of 70kg. I did not expect that! Pulls really really nicely...

Just changed belt, rollers and air filter, but all in good shape

If you bend the belt in the other direction (inside out) you will see the cracks, they indicate the wear. But yes it is a tough one, I do not know if it will break before the double run (40000km); I have had a belt break down in my Kymco Downtown 300i on the highway when I overtook some cars at...

    end of J. Costa

Got it going, with stock variator and 42g sliding rollers by Dr.Pulley. Wow what a rush, without the buzz. The only issue left is some skips and struggle in the clutch during the first half-second off the lights. My guess is that Dr.Pulleys hiT clutch needs a different combo of spring sets. It...

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

Worst case scenario could be a crack in the front part of the frame. This typically needs an xray to confirm.

    Hello

Welcome to the club. GT is a serious bike, not sure if learning should start there, esp. in mountain passes. It is my firm opinion that one needs to ride 6000 miles to really master the motorbike. Not sure what classes are available, I started commuting on a Kymco 125 twenty years ago.

    end of J. Costa

Gday all today is the day when i say goodbye to my adventures with J. Costa variators. The one i had installed, has has a fair run of a 20000km and the rollers are buggered as supposed to be. i have had 25g rollers installed as they do not make heavier. i wish they were more like 25.5g but not...
