They were also produced as the Kappa KL5106. I did not buy them when they were available and regret it. I have not been able to find any so far. I also want to acquire a set for long term traveling when I retire this summer. Any leads will be appreciated.
Not $2,000.00. Still very expensive (@$1,200.00) if everything on list is done. BMW did go to inspect and emplacement if needed instead of mandatory everything being done. Even so, still expensive. Went scooters because I did not start riding until I was 54. When looking to upgrade in 2012 I was...
On my first long trip (500+miles) my hand cramped so bad that I let a pickup go in front of me at a toll booth wil I tried to get the money out of my pocket. Then I found out they payed my toll for being nice and letting them in. Got a cramp buster that week. Next trip out of town (1200+miles) I...
Spoke with service manager, I was right. This 2019 recall is on a dec 2015 recall. Apparently either some scooters are still having problems or bmw decided that the original replacement parts were not as good as they thought. .??? While I have never had any problems with either scoot I will have...
I just got my recall notice on my 2013 Friday. I could swear that I had this recall done on my original bike four or five years ago. And was supposedly done on the replacement by the original owner when he had it. Still waiting on the callback from dealer.
No bike history for me just scooters. I went from a 250 Helix clone to a C650GT. Looked at a Burgman and a Silverwing. Burgman and Beemer are close. I went with beemer for a scosh more leg room and factory option heated seats and grips.
The reason for the limitation is because of the speed rating on the tires. Check your tire specs. That extra 10 - 12 mph is no good if your tires come apart on the track.
That’s right about blue book oe nada. I got that from insurance when mine was stolen and trashed. Just make sure that all of the recalls have been done. You can get info on those on this forum. I loved mine so much that I found another one, same year and color.
Also, red is fastest.
Looks nice, but I am happy with my 2013 GT. However, if you are willing to sell the side racks and cases separately I would be interested in them. I understand you want to sell bike as is and not take them off.
