I need to fit a speedo cable to my 125 gtv and i have no way of knowing the correct routing under the front mudguard. If i look up i see a gap between the mudguard and fork where they meet in the centre, this seems an obvious route but would run the cable up against the shock spring and possibly...
I do like the 800 motor and the belt drive system has been very reliable but to produce this for the scooter they would have had to re design the cases to take the cvt and gearbox etc. I think our current motors and the firing ordwr of the crank works wel enough for what we have and i am sure...
i like that colour, i havnt seen one that colour in the flesh yet but saying that, iv'e only ever seen my black one and a blue one!!!! GT's are soooo common, lol.
our dealership have just quoted around the £600 mark for the 12,000 service. this in my eyes would be different if the chain and sprockets did'nt need replacing, after all the tension is adjustable as long as it's checked and can be adjusted. i think the huge price revolves around this item...
i recon they are broken in at about 1000 miles, i ran in till 600 miles then thrashed but felt at it's best from about 1000 miles. it just seems to get better and better with miles though.
baxter is now fixed and back on the road, new rear subframe, rear light, number plate holder and number plate light. it was'nt a bad fix and only took a couple of hours.
i took some interesting pics, the scoot lost it's rear for a short time and looks kinda freaky.
I would say they carried out a software update, it makes perfect sense.
My 600 had the update at pdi so i never saw the change, i also show 53 mpg as an average but thats uk gallons, you guys must have the software for US gallons.
take it back to the dealer and get them to re synch the tpm's to the bike, when they do this they will be able to know if the sensor is reacting or not. the sensors are very easily damaged when changing tyres, especially if the tyre fitter isn't aware of them or know where they are.
if the...
you say a detonation sound, with this do you get a vibe through the bars and a feeling the motor is holding back? as said by others, quite hard to diagnose without someone else riding it.
if it's a metalic clattering noise, check all screws are in and tight on the manifold shield of the...
i have used castrol greentech in the past which is a spray on cleaner, works well but i found i needed to work it around as it seems quite consentrated to me.
other than that, i have now started to use a car shampoo with carnuba wax in it and still work it in and around then rinse. i always dry...
yup, got rear ended today sat waiting at a set of traffic lights:( im ok and my scoot never touched the ground but the licence plate holder, light and rear subframe are worst for it.
the only reason i went out was to take pics of my new rim decals to post up here to see what you guy's thought...

i have now solved mytransport problem too...........i have bought a cheap, battered 07 plate vespa GTV125 as a workhorse!!!! you gotta love the miners lamp headlight on the front mudguard, lol.
