I've enjoyed my 2020 C650 GT very much for over 1,600 miles. But... as I believe I posted elsewhere, I'm selling it and going to get a new Harley Tri Glide in the spring. The C650 GT has been great for the wife and I to ride. It keeps up with the nephew's Harleys and never do we fall behind...
I know that I'm a LOOONG way from your area, central Michigan area, but I have a VERY NICE '20 C650 GT with 8,600 miles.
Dan's '20 Beemer
I've listed all that I've done to it and it runs/rides excellent. Price is negotiable.
I bought a new belt and a set of Dr. Pulley roller/sliders and...
Hi all,
I have a '20 C650 GT with 8,600 miles on it. I had purchased a few months ago a set of Dr. Pulley's 36-gram slider/rollers. I was told that for riding two up and both being on the heavier side, these would give me more mid and take off zip.
I had to pull off the right side anyway as...
Hello all.
I purchased my new to me, 2020 C650 GT this spring and now have around 1,300 miles clocked so far. It had 7,011 miles when I got it.
I have a new belt along with the Dr. Pulley 36 gram sliders to install. While doing the belt/sliders, I plan to de-cat the catalytic converter...
Thanks!
I had to "custom" design my pieces to "fit" my master cylinder locations and angles. It would be very hard to make a universal dual side mount brackets.
Good luck with your C400GT NAV mounting.
Dan
I'm a new owner of a 2020 here in the US. Is the scoot you're looking at a left-hand or right-hand scooter??? :) Just kidding!
The important thing is that you are looking at a '17, which is in the Gen 2 variety. I was ONLY looking at the '16 and newer for the added upgrades from the Gen 2...
Thanks Bill... :)
I did a bit or fab work and started with just a single rear brake master cylinder top plate and RAM ball sideways for my iPhone. THEN... I found the Carpuride 702W and bought that. That required a rethink of my options. I then created double master cylinder plates with a...
Now that I have the new belt, I will make some time in the next week or two and swap out the rollers for the Dr. Pulley 36gr sliders. I will take off the clutch and inspect it for wear. I will then lightly sand the shoes just in case. New belt, new sliders AND a new right side running board...
Hello all,
I've been able to put around 400 miles on my new to me 2020 C650 GT. It showed 7,020 miles on the ticker when I got it home. I've ridden is some solo, but mostly 2-up. It runs great and does everything I would expect it to do... BUT, upon taking off from a stop, I hear what sounds...
GSMetal, thanks for the pictures of your scoot... :)
I can't find anyplace to purchase an Aeroflo windshield. It's really what I'm looking for. I bought a "tall" recurve for my Honda Helix and love it. I also have a ClearView recurve on my Harley Road Glide, also works great.
It looks like...
Hello all.
I'm new to the BMW family with my purchase in March of a 2020 c650 GT with just 7k miles on the ticker. I've been riding it and enjoying it very much, but the windshield for me leaves a bit to be desired. I'm 5'-13" and am long waisted. I sit like a 5'- 15" guy in the saddle.
I...
I started out with making a single RAM mount for the top of the rear brake master cylinder and mounting my iPhone. This worked out okay, but then I saw videos of the Compuride W702 display Bluetooth model. This has Apple Car Play and Android Auto along with some of the other apps that came...
Thanks Mike!
I bow to your vast experience and knowledge of the Maxi-Scooters. I bought mine 120 miles from my house and had it in the back of my F-350 tied down by the handlebar strap and a wrap around the rear wheel. I had no issues with it. My only concern with the very low point of the...
I know this is an old thread without any reply, but after purchasing my new to me 2020 BMW C650 GT and not really seeing anything great to tie down to, the dealership showed me this. It's a handlebar tiedown system with plastic handlebar caps and two straps that crisscross from side to side...
Sorry I didn't reply afterwards.
Like said above, the bezel is a turn and lock to the right setup. I had to take the center panel loose to get a bit more looseness on the bezel and then I could turn it to the right and got it to click into place. Then reinstalled the center painted panel and...
Bojan, did you ever come up with a plan to get the handlebar covers off? I'm in that position now and a bit of procedure would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Dan
Ceesie76, this is an older thread, but relevant to me today. I've looked at the master cylinder top mount as an option and was planning on making one up. I'm worried that the fluid bladder might be crushed by the amount of tightness required for a RAM mount on the two screws.
