I am trying to properly diagnose and fix a no start issue with my friend's 2013 BMW C650GT. I have replaced the battery and the new battery tests 12.64 volts with my digital multi meter. The dash lights-up when I turn the key on but when I push the start button with the kickstands up there is no response. I listened for the fuel pump to power-up but nothing happens with that either. I am thinking that the side kickstand switch could have gone bad. There's 3 wires leading to this side kickstand kill-switch and 2 are reading 5 volts and the third wire reads 10 millivolts (Key On Engine Off), so I think it's getting the signal and proper voltage. I removed the side kickstand kill-swith and tested it with my digital multi meter set to read ohms and all 3 metal prongs on it read OL, which I've been taught means Infinite Resistance. With the KOEO the 2 wires in the wiring harness connector read OL but the 3rd wire reads 33 ohms and my meter produces an audible beeping sound. What does this beeping sound mean?

Normally a beeping sound means the circuit is good (continuity). I suggest you get the Motoscan app and check for fault codes. You know you have to apply one of the brakes to get the bike to crank? (Besides the side stand being 'in')?
