Interrupted / incomplete charging

Came downstairs this morning, and found (once again) my scooter had not charged overnight. This is about the sixth time. There is always a warning shown when I turn on the scooter.

My guess is that this is a software bug. Somehow while charging (and the bike is "off") the software decides to display a warning (even though the display is off and no user present), and interrupts charging. This of course makes no sense.

The complicating factor is that the BMW app on my phone seems to be always trying to connect to the bike, and gets confused. Would not be a huge stretch to guess the software on the bike is confused as well.

Just took the scooter in for service. Would hope the dealer applied any software updates ... but not a certainty. Slightly afraid that BMW may have out-sourced their software development to the cheapest supplier.

Anyone else seeing incomplete charging?

Do we know the current software version? Any improvement?

I woke up to an incomplete charge a few weeks ago. Since then I have wired a dedicated 20 amp circuit for charging in my garage. I figure another appliance on the undedicated circuit might have caused the bike to stop charging. My software version is 013_014_020.

Mine sometimes stops charging after the BMW app on my phone connects to the bike when I'm close to the garage. Activating the scooter with the start button (with keys at a distance) reactivates the charging process.

Mine also stops charging without reaching 100% many times. I have not identified the cause. I usually find it at between 60% and 75% the following, very annoying.. I need to turn on and off to resume charging.. I do the charge on a Tesla wall charger

Hello everyones you must go to your dealer to get an update on your OS system I had the same problem and they did install last week the new version and everything is fine now. The new version is 014_015_020

Hi guys, I had the same problem and contacted with the dealer. They replaced my charging unit but did not resolve the issue but it happened less. I think I figured out the cause. Charging directly after using boost mode seems to cut the charge.
Battery fan runs at max when I connect to charger, after I turn of the bike to begin charge, fan stops. Maybe battery gets overheated and stops the charge.

For my part it stop doing it after software update except it redid it last week so I did change where my charger was connected and it did change 100% I will try again on the original socket to see if it's my socket who defective. the other test that I will try is to charge on the street on a charging station, so I will see if it's my wall unit or the charger inside the scooter who is defective.
