Came downstairs this morning, and found (once again) my scooter had not charged overnight. This is about the sixth time. There is always a warning shown when I turn on the scooter.
My guess is that this is a software bug. Somehow while charging (and the bike is "off") the software decides to display a warning (even though the display is off and no user present), and interrupts charging. This of course makes no sense.
The complicating factor is that the BMW app on my phone seems to be always trying to connect to the bike, and gets confused. Would not be a huge stretch to guess the software on the bike is confused as well.
Just took the scooter in for service. Would hope the dealer applied any software updates ... but not a certainty. Slightly afraid that BMW may have out-sourced their software development to the cheapest supplier.
Anyone else seeing incomplete charging?
Do we know the current software version? Any improvement?
