Hello, I'm exavid living in Medford, Oregon. Just sold my Goldwing and now ride a C650GT. Long time rider since 1956, had a lot of bikes over the years several Goldwings along with a few scooters. Started on a Cushman scooter in 1956 lately had a Silverwing 600 and a Burgman 650 and now the BMW. I used to sail, and for many years in Alaska flew light aircraft for pleasure and a bit of air taxi work in the NW part of the state.

Exavid ....... Let's see now, 1956. Hmmmm, that's a lot of riding. Not often I can say this to anyone, "I was in single digits when you started."

We have many many folks that come to this forum trying to decide between a Burgman 650 and one of the BMWs. Maybe you can shed some light on why you made the switch.
 
New to forum from St. Louis, MO. Currently riding a PCX 150. Great little scooter and was a perfect one to start on about 1 1/2 years ago. But have my eye on the 650 and plan to pull the trigger soon so I have it by the time the snow melts and the salt get washed off the roads.
 
Hi i'm Isz from e tiny island of Singapore. Just sold my R1150GS and got myself a GT. Reason i made e switch was due to an accident (February 2013) which caused my left wrist ligaments fully torn hence making it very difficult for me to handle my 275kg beast(30L adv tank). This GT had me smiling from ear to ear as it's a lot easier to push around and e auto transmission means there's lesser load on my left wrist. I was actually pondering between a Tmax 530 & e GT but in Singapore,both are almost similarly priced and e GT ticks every box in terms of practicality,creature comforts & FC.Am loving every moment on it!

at lest for getting the GT sorry to hear about the accident. I hope I see you roaming the roads in Singapore this April. I plan to visit the BMW shop there, is there still just the motorcycles on Bukit Timah near King Albert shopping center; that the only one I ever saw anyway.

PML (Performance Motors Limited) has shifted to Alexandra Road just beside Ikea building. It's a huge BMW building that u can never miss! Haha. Let me know when u're coming...
 
I'll be there Apr 4-8th, staying at the Holiday Inn on Cavenaugh before the presidents house. I will visit old coworkers and spent some time eating Roti with tea Tarik at CMK by Mustafa Plaza.

This is Mj from Miami.. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself on the forum.. Hopefully this is the right place. I currently have a 2009 honda silver wing abs. I am here to research the c650 gt before trading in my swing. I love riding to the Keys & the Lake US27... If anyone has traded from a silver wing to the c650 please feel free to let me know the pros and cons as this is why I am here... thx
 
How's it goin', everyone my name is john from spotswood newjersey! Nice to be a part of the forums! I'm not an owner just yet. I visit the local BMW dealership in Metuchen nj , and was very impress with the GT 650. I will be purchasing soon after I extend the garage.
