Which high-temperature grease?

In the user's manual for my 2016 C650GT, is says that when replacing the silencer (muffler if you're on the other side of the pond), you should apply high-temperature grease around the inside of the silencer pipe. It doesn't say which high temperature grease to use. Would a copper-based grease (e.g. Copaslip or CopperEase) be appropriate? If not, what would you suggest?

Thanks

Mike

I've used this on variator splines on a few C 650 GT belt changes. I believe it's equivalent to the grease that BMW specs.

Thanks, but this isn't the grease I'm talking about. The one I need goes in the joint between the silencer (muffler) and the exhaust pipe. Its sometimes described as packing compound, but BMW refer to it as high temperature grease. I think the purpose it to stop the joint leaking, and at the same time allow it to be dismantled.
