Is the digital info/navigation screen worth the extra $$$

Maybe a subjective question-To those that have the digital info screen on their 400 GT, if you were to do it all over again would you buy the same or the lesser dash model. And if I may ask why ?. I’m an old guy. I don’t really need Bluetooth IMO and I have a small Garmin Nuvi that I can use for...

Need a dimension please ground/floor to height of hump.

If someone has a spare minute, could you get a level and measure tape and give me the distance from the 400GT hump ( where gas tank lid is) to the ground. In other words how high must you lift your foot up to clear the center hump when mounting the scooter. One of the reasons I did not consider...

Rear wheel drive train/hub oil ?

I looked through the online owners manual about maintenance on the 400 GT. I see nothing about the rear hub/drive gears lubrication. The engine and rear hub are separate on every make of scooter I’ve seen. Does the C 400 GT utilize engine oil to lubricate these gears/bearings for the rear wheel?

    C 400 GT valve adjust/check speculation

I have not seen a repair manual on this scoot, but I have seen a part’s microfiche. Looks to me like the rocker arms just slide to one side once the plastic side spacer/retainer is remover to expose the shims ( exactly like the Piaggio BV 350/400 engine. Unless I’m missing something. So easy...

What adapter and app needed to reset oil change/other alerts

I’m buying a new C 400 GT in the next few month’s. I do all my own maintenance and repairs. I live 150 mile from the selling dealer. I would like to reset the oil change light/memo when that time comes. I have a high end OBD scanner for automotive use. Can I buy an adapter that will work on the...

Any 400 GT owners bikes use oil ?

I have never had a bike use oil of the bikes/scooters I’ve owned. Proper breakin/run in and used. If treated accordingly does the C 400 GT use any oil at first or at all ? I intend to use the proper/full synthetic 5-40 oil. Thanks for your replies.

New BMW C650 GT plan to ride home from dealer

The ride home will be 150 <> miles. I have read on here to stay below 7000 rpm for first 600 miles. That seems kinda high. However I will vary the speed/rpm and take a few little rests along the way. On flat ground if I don’t exceed 60 or 65 mph what rpm am I looking at ? I have very few...

How is the C400 on the highway ? RPM at 60-65 mph

Hello. I have a Yamaha YP 400 Majesty scooter .I like it a lot and do long drives w/a lot of freeway ( 65-75) MPH. I have been reading a lot about the C-650 gt. But I am curious about the BMW 400. I’m leaning towards the bigger Beemer scooter, but it sure is nice moving a lighter(400) machine...
