AeroFlow Windscreen Low - First Impression

I finally did get a chance to get out for about 150 miles this past week with about 50 of those miles being 2-up.

My first impression is that the AeroFlow produces a much cleaner airflow at any position. In fact I found myself riding at highway speeds with the screen full down more then fully up. To be clear with the screen fully up it provided a clean and quiet wind flow producing a bubble so quiet it was quite easy to have a conversation with my passenger. Very reminiscent to the experience I had when demoing the K1600GTL. In fact it was difficult to find a position that caused any unpleasant wind buffeting.

1-up there were several positions I liked based upon the speed I was traveling. I found I could direct the flow of air easily to just above my visor and into the air intakes for my helmet making for a very cooling sensations.

Looking forward to quite a few miles as the weather cools down here in the desert.

I just installed an Aeroflow screen (size Large) on my 2013 GT. After my first test ride I concur with all of your observations. Now I know what my scooter sounds like because I can hear the engine! Big improvement over the stock screen and one of the easiest changes to make.

Ok, I am on the fence on this $250 upgrade. I've only had my GT for about three weeks now, and I have about 750 miles on it. Most of those miles were weekend cruises 150-200 miles. I am 5'8", and the stock screen seems fine to me. When I look at the visual comparison between the stock and the Aeroflow, the stock seems like its upper edge is more squared off than the more rounded edge of the Aeroflow... I feel like I already have a great pocket to ride in. Is the Aeroflow really that much more comfortable of a ride?? I just wish that I could try one for about 20 minutes of riding, then I would know.

Just to throw another option, Puig makes a screen for the GT. I have one for my Sport and think it is much better than stock. More attractive too.

I am 6'2" and the stock screen was simply too short for me. Lots of buffeting around the head and shoulders. Plus it was just plain noisy. The shape of the Aeroflow, in addition to its height, seems to provide more protection and a smoother, quieter rude for me. That said, if the stock screen works for you that's great.

I am about the same height as you are and I have the short Areoflow fitted to my GT. The only difference is some less buffeting for the pillion and not sufficiently so either. The curve in the Areoflow reflects the lights from the dash at night. It also distorts the view if I were to raise the screen to around max. I always travel with a pillion on long trips so I leave it on but in all honesty, if I travelled solo, at my height I would put the stock back on.
