Bmw c600 sport questions

Still didn't go for a second opinion. They want me to leave the bike again for who know how many days.
New problem:)
The white spring in the middle started peeling... Has anyone experienced this??
Did some tests this weekend. When I ride between 20-30mph especially downhill, the transmission seems to disengage.

I installed a Dr Pulley clutch to fix the clutch issues on my C600 Sport. Had the same issues you are describing, revving way too high before clutch would engage and clutch disengaging too soon at slower speeds. Mine now begins to engage at around 2000 rpm and fully locks up at 15 to 20 mph. It also now disengages at 15 to 20 mph as well.

The scooter should run right. Period. It's up to the dealer to correct, replace or refund your money. Even New York ought to have a lemon law that applies to motor vehicle dealers.

There are some computer updates that were done on these bikes, it could be that the BMW recalls and advisorys haven't been done on your bike. As for gasoline Here's some recall and advisory info for your scooter:

I think there's a complete list on the forum here somewhere. Your dealer is required by law to certify the NTSB recalls have been done and BMW will require the dealer to take care of BMW product advisorys of which there were several, replace handlebar switches, replace left front brake hose, correct idle and stalling issues for a few. All of these are supposed to be done by the dealer at no cost to the owner.
