More C600 windscreen choices than just GIVI...

That's good to hear TwoPort. I wonder if it's the C600 sport that has issues. I read that the puig and malossi are the ones having trouble. That being said, they are shorter and sportier so not an issue of you are looking for protection.

I am still interested in a shorter screen for warm weather and a higher screen such as the wunderlich for cooler weather and travels.

I run the Puig screen, and it does not line up perfectly - it does, however, flex ever so slightly, which is all it needed to line up with the stock holes.

I've been running it for 3 months without any issues, hairline cracks etc, so seems to be doing the job okay. At $120, If it began to fail after a year or so, I would probably just get another one. Less than a year, I would look at other options.

How about some impressions vs. the stock screen. The biggest issue I had was noise, so I cut mine down. Fairly satisfied but I am no machinist so it isn't quite as nice looking. As I just mentioned, I'm still considering an aftermarket screen and do like the look of the puig; I have one for my Aprilia and it's well made.

Ummm...so, it's definitely better looking than stock. Not difficult though - the stock screen looks like you're riding behind 3ft of vertical window!

Regarding the wind & noise, I find it's just about perfect in the lowest position. This way, you keep most of the wind off your body, but leave your head mostly exposed - which is perfect for me and my full-face helmet. I also ride an 848, so I'm used to the usual wind-direct-to-helmet noises. I see you also ride with a full-face, so this may suit you too.

I didn't like the look of the little Malossi screen - it looks more like a placeholder than a windshield. Sitting upright, you're going to be taking all that wind square in the chest, which at reasonable speeds or for extended periods is going to become pretty tiresome.

I guess I should have read your post. I see you got a large. I'm 6'2" and will probably get the large as well.

Puig installed:

Took a little muscle to get it. I had to push down and sort of flatten it out to get the holes lined up. Also, the OEM screw came out without a hitch. I know some people had issues with them being stripped or what not.

Zero buffetting and no vibrations. Of course, I only traveled about 20 feet at about 5mph. :p

I just got it and put it on, haven't had a chance to ride with it. Tomorrow.

Should I locktite my Givi screen? Just put it on C600. Massive improvement, though only if you prefer see through experience.
