Thanks for the details! I like the looks of the Winderlich. I’ve mostly had some type of crash bars on all my street and touring bikes over the years. They do help in those nasty parking lots. The C 400 GT ones look very minimal, but I agree that they probably help in those parked or slow speed...

Got the Utopia backrest and installed it. Took about 45 minutes. It will fold ford for easier passenger boarding, but not totally flat. Here are some pics.

I just had my first service done. Took about 1.5 hours. If I were you I would make a day trip out of it and go to the dealer. I have owned a lot of bikes and most all required some warranty work at some point. Wouldn’t want to lose that warranty.
