You can get Brembo pads for the same price as EBC and there's no guessing about how they will perform. I've heard nothing negative about EBC, though.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a C seat go up "by itself." These things are everywhere these days, all my cars use them, other stuff too. None of them go up un-assisted, but stay up when they are extended.

Right. Just start pulling screws and see what happens. These aren't watches; they're not that complicated.

Thanks. That's why I asked for anyone's experience. Based on the parts diagram, it does not appear that it is user-serviceable. I'll get around to taking it out this weekend and see what's up.

The steering/ignition lock on my 2013 C650 GT no longer works. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is this something that can be fixed, or do I need to replace the entire mechanism? Thanks all.

It was about $45 dollars for the mount; surprisingly inexpensive for an OEM part. The cradle was new, and I bought it on ADV for $175. The Nav V is from my GS.
