    Bike won't start

As I said before, I think your battery is low on power. I would jump start it with an extra known good (your car's with jumper cables?) battery. When I collected my C650 Sport weekend before last at LAX airport, where it had been sitting for 3.5 months (!) I figured the battery might be low. I...

    Check Engine Light Won’t Start

On my C650, if I forget the flexcase is open (the one that you can down onto the rear wheel when the bike is parked for additional storage, like a second full-face helmet) I do receive a warning message and the bike won't start - actually it's a tiny drawing/icon of an open flexcase in the...

    BMW c650gt shudder

It's caused by riding longer distances on the highway. Just keep doing what you are doing to fix it: brake on, accelerate, until it's gone. The clutch can take it. No other / preventative cure for it AFAIK.

    TPMS programming

OMG. I have TPMS on all three of my (BMW) motorcycles and one of our 4 cars here in the US, but on none of my 3 cars or 2 motorcycles in France. Bottom line, it's not worth all this drama. Nice to have, sure, but all this? The sensors are insanely expensive from BMW (as in, $450 for a set) and...

    C 650 GT bulbs

I would like to believe that, however when my C650 burns up 3 of 4 bulbs in two years' time (and less than 4K miles) when my Volvo car bulbs have been fine for 10+ years and 120,000 miles, something is not right.

    Bike won't start

Sounds like your starter may not be engaging. Is the battery ok? Try jumping the bike with an extra 12 volt (car for example) battery.

C650GT won't start after battery was installed with reverse polarity

That would be a fuse - they 'live' near the battery I believe. Look in your owner's manual for more info. Fuses are very cheap and protect the bike's electrical system against shorts and other problems such as this one.

Engine stalling when slowing - test idle control device?

If the error comes back I would look at replacing the O2 sensor, its proper functioning is very important to the engine's functioning. Once a year running a good injector cleaner through the system is also a good idea, in general.

Need Guidance for BMW 2017 C650 Sport - 40,000 km Service

You can download the user manual from BMW website and it has the service schedule. The 50K kms maintenance requirement is only engine oil + filter, your more major service would have been at 40K kms:

Engine stalling when slowing - test idle control device?

Did you try replacing the oxygen sensor, or at least checking the connection/wiring to it?

    C 650 GT bulbs

Translation: "The low beam and high beam are identical (H7), the difference is with the reflector. Try to mount an LED bulb from Amazon or aliexpress, maybe the LEDs are less sensitive to the difference in voltages?? And given the price, a test will not cost you much."

    C 650 GT bulbs

So far my new bulbs have been holding up but I am not holding my breath about their life expectancy. If another one goes way to soon (they should last years, not months to 1 year) then I will look for the root cause, likely the voltage regulator. I don't have my multimeter handy (traveling for...

    C 650 GT bulbs

Agree with Marschris135 that your issue may be caused by a faulty voltage regulator. I read someplace that they can allow too high a voltage to be pumped into the electrical system, burning out the bulbs prematurely. My C650 has had this same problem, and I have recently switched to long-life...

    First post, wooo

The Tucano cover is what allowed me, and many fellow-riders in Geneva, Switzerland, to ride my Honda 300cc scooter year-round (except when there was too much snow on the ground, which happened only ocasionally). Maybe also get those muffs for the handlebars.

BMW C650GT Cam Chain Tensioner replacement instructions and parts

Sorry to hear about your problems. Mine, as I just posted on your other thread, displayed the same symptoms as yours did, it sounds like: quiet on cold startup, then a faint rattle for mabe 5-10 minutes, that then went away rest of the trip. This is with about 2K miles on this 2016 Sport. Took...

    NHTSA Complaint about tensioner

My 2016 C650 Sport had its mechanical tensioner fail after just 2,500 miles. Was replaced under warranty. Then the new one failed again after about 10K miles so it is now, with 12K miles, already on its third tensioner. Oil changes always with correct BMW Motorrad oil and filter.

Needing variator holding tool for C650 GT

As someone replied in another thread, the Easy Boost tool set from France appears to be the best option. I bought it online, delivered to the US. If selling outside the EU, no sales tax (20% or so) is due which tends to pay for the shipping.

    Oil Leaks C650GT

Sounds like it may be the filter not sealing against the block. I've not noticed any oil/oily grime down there but admit I don't look there very often. Will take a peek next time I'm with the bike. Don't recall other reports of oil leaks on this forum either.
