I assume since you already have the mount, you are kinda stuck with the BMW case. You know the color coded, same key as ignition top case. BMW top case is actually very nice. Make sur you pay the extra $100 for the padHi All
I've had my 2014 C650GT since about Aug 2014. Just now logging in officially. I'm using the scoot to commute to work, at least until I can cross the finish line and really retire! Cant wait. Taking my first long distance trip end of June. So now in the hunt for a top case: soft luggage or hard case, like maybe a GIVI or something. I have the BMW luggage grid, not sure which top cases will mount to that. Hope my only choices are not BMW Motorrad - lots of configuration choice there that add up the costs.
Anyway I'll be adding photos soon and probably be more active on this great forum.
Thanks for all of your great posts here!
Hello, I'm just west of Chicago, IL and purchased my 2014 C650GT last year. The first 1800 miles were fabulous but then the trouble began. It was stuttering, shaking and reving up on take off and around slow corners, in town. The BMW shop near here just finished replacing the primary exterior disk, spacer sleeve, roller weights, guide bar and several small items. I picked it up at their shop yesterday afternoon and it ran perfectly for 16 miles and is now doing the same thing. Unless my maximum trip length is under 16 miles this isn't going to be my favorite. I own and have owned a 100/7, 1200C, and K1200 and never had any problems.
